D24B 24-Channel DMX512 Decoder | 4A × 24CH 12–24V CV OLED Controller
D24B 24-Channel DMX512 Decoder | 4A × 24CH 12–24V CV OLED Controller
Overview
The D24B is a high-performance 24-channel DMX512 decoder designed for large LED systems requiring precise multi-channel control. Equipped with an OLED display for easy configuration, the D24B converts DMX512 signals into 24 independent constant-voltage PWM outputs. With 4A per channel, wide 12–24V DC input compatibility and selectable PWM frequencies, it is the ideal solution for RGB, RGBW, CCT and complex multi-channel LED strip installations in architectural, commercial and entertainment lighting projects.
Key Features
- 24-channel DMX512 constant voltage LED decoder
- OLED display for address setup, status info and mode configuration
- 24 outputs × 4A each (up to 96A total load)
- 12–24V DC wide input range
- Supports DMX512 standard protocol
- Multiple PWM frequencies for flicker-free performance
- Smooth 0–100% dimming with high-resolution output
- Selectable dimming curves (linear or logarithmic depending on model)
- Multiple channel modes for RGB, RGBW, CCT or custom mapping
- DMX address settable via OLED and control buttons
- Short-circuit, overload and thermal protection
- Memory function retains settings after power loss
- Full metal housing for heat dissipation and long-term reliability
Technical Notes
- 24 channels can be assigned for RGB (8 groups), RGBW (6 groups), CCT (12 groups) or fully independent control.
- The OLED interface simplifies DMX addressing and configuration.
- Supports multiple PWM frequencies to avoid flicker, especially in studio or camera environments.
- Works with any standard DMX console, controller, software interface or architectural DMX system.
- Requires a constant voltage LED power supply (12 or 24V depending on LED type).
- Ensure channel loads are balanced to maintain optimal thermal performance.
Wiring & Installation Notes
- Connect a 12–24V DC power supply to the input terminals (+V / –V).
- Connect LED strips or LED modules to channels CH1–CH24, observing polarity.
- DMX input and thru ports follow standard DMX512 wiring: Data+, Data–, GND.
- Use DMX twisted-pair cable for best signal performance.
- Terminate the last DMX device with a 120Ω resistor.
- Set DMX start address and channel mode via OLED display and onboard keys.
- Install indoors only (IP20), with adequate ventilation.
- Follow local electrical guidelines and ensure proper wire sizing for high-current installations.
Applications
- Large RGB, RGBW or multi-channel LED strip systems
- CCT tunable white LED installations
- Architectural lighting projects
- Stage, club and event lighting requiring multi-output DMX control
- Commercial lighting and hospitality environments
- 24-channel matrix or custom multi-zone LED systems
