Overview

The EV4-X is a 4-channel DC constant voltage power repeater designed to extend the output capacity of PWM-based LED controllers. It reproduces the incoming PWM signal across four high-current output channels, ensuring synchronized dimming and color performance throughout large or multi-section LED installations. Supporting 12–48V DC input and up to 4×5A output, the EV4-X is suitable for RGB, RGBW and other multi-channel constant voltage LED setups.

Technical Notes

• The EV4-X does not generate its own dimming signal; it follows the PWM signal from a master controller.

Wiring & Installation Notes

• Connect the input power supply (12–48V DC) to the V+ and V– input terminals.

• Connect the PWM signal wires from the master controller to the EV4-X signal input terminals.
• Ensure common ground (V–) between the repeater, LED controller and power supply.
• Mount in a dry, indoor environment (IP20 rating) with adequate ventilation.
• Do not exceed 5A per channel or 20A total output current.
