LV-L 0/1–10V LED Dimming Driver | 1-Channel 12–48V 15A Constant Voltage

LV-L 0/1–10V LED Dimming Driver | 1-Channel 12–48V 15A Constant Voltage

Overview

The LV-L is a 1-channel 0/1–10V LED dimming driver designed for constant voltage LED strips and single-colour LED luminaires. It combines a 0/1–10V dimming input with a high-current PWM constant voltage output, providing smooth 0–100% brightness control. With selectable logarithmic or linear dimming curves, four PWM frequency options and built-in Push-Dim support, the LV-L is an ideal choice for both new installations and retrofits where professional, flicker-free LED dimming is required.

Key Features

  • 1-channel 0/1–10V LED dimming driver with Push-Dim function
  • 1-channel 0/1–10V input and 1-channel PWM constant voltage output
  • Wide input voltage range: 12–48V DC constant voltage
  • High output current up to 15A at 12/24V and 10A at 36/48V
  • Output power up to 480W (depending on supply voltage)
  • 0–100% dimming range with 4096-level (12-bit) dimming resolution
  • Selectable logarithmic or linear dimming curve
  • Selectable PWM frequency: 500Hz, 2kHz, 8kHz or 16kHz
  • Compatible with active or passive 0–10V and 1–10V dimmers
  • Push-Dim interface for simple wall-switch control (short press on/off, long press dimming)
  • Over-heat, over-load and short-circuit protection with auto-recovery
  • Compact metal housing for easy integration into control panels or junction boxes

Technical Notes

  • The LV-L is a constant voltage PWM dimming driver and must be used with 12–48V DC LED strips or constant voltage LED modules.
  • Supports 0–10V, 1–10V, 10V PWM and RX (300K–500K) input signals via a 4-in-1 interface.
  • 0–100% dimming range is achieved via a logarithmic or linear characteristic selectable by DIP switch.
  • 4096 dimming steps (12-bit) provide very fine and comfortable brightness adjustment.
  • Four PWM frequency levels (500Hz, 2kHz, 8kHz, 16kHz) allow optimisation between output current, acoustic noise and camera flicker.
  • Higher PWM frequencies are more suitable for video recording but will slightly reduce maximum output current.
  • Push-Dim allows on/off and stepless dimming using a standard non-latching momentary wall switch.
  • Dimming memory ensures the driver returns to the previous brightness level after power off/on, even after mains failure.
  • Multiple LV-L units can be synchronised on the same push switch input without additional sync wires, within recommended limits.
  • CE, RoHS and FCC compliant, meeting EN IEC 55015, EN IEC 61547, EN 61347-1/-2 and EN 62493 standards.

Wiring & Installation Notes

  • Connect a regulated DC power supply (12–48V DC) to the power input terminals observing correct polarity (+ / –).
  • Connect the LED strip or constant voltage LED load to the LED output terminals (LED+ / LED–).
  • Connect the 0/1–10V signal wires to the 0/1–10V input terminals; the driver accepts active or passive 0–10V or 1–10V dimmer signals.
  • For Push-Dim control, connect a non-latching (momentary) wall switch between the PUSH terminal and GND.
  • Short press on the push switch toggles the light on/off; long press (1–6 s) dims up or down, alternating direction with each long press.
  • Use the DIP switches to select PWM frequency and dimming curve (logarithmic or linear) according to the project requirements.
  • Ensure total LED load does not exceed 15A at 12/24V or 10A at 36/48V and the corresponding maximum wattage.
  • Recommended maximum number of LED drivers connected to one 0/1–10V or Push-Dim line is 50, with cable lengths not exceeding 50 m.
  • Install in a dry, well-ventilated area; do not stack units closer than 20 cm or mount directly next to switching power supplies to avoid overheating and interference.
  • All wiring must be performed by qualified personnel in accordance with local electrical standards.

Applications

  • Single-colour LED strip dimming (12–48V constant voltage)
  • Residential cove, indirect and ambient lighting
  • Retail and commercial linear lighting systems
  • Office and corridor lighting requiring 0/1–10V dimming
  • Retrofit projects using existing 0–10V or 1–10V dimming infrastructures
  • Integration into building automation and lighting control systems
