Overview

The TD4-4S is a 4-zone wall mounted DALI-2 master controller designed for RGBW LED lighting. It supports DT8-RGBW control, providing smooth color mixing and independent white channel adjustment in each zone. Powered by the DALI bus or an external 24VDC supply, this glass touch panel offers 256-level dimming, scene recall and optional RF remote control, making it ideal for residential, commercial and architectural RGBW installations.

Technical Notes

• The TD4-4S is a DALI master panel; it does not include a built-in DALI bus power supply.
• A separate DALI bus power supply is required when operating the panel on a DALI line.
• Using a 24VDC auxiliary power supply is recommended to reduce load on the DALI bus, especially when multiple panels are installed.
• Supports DT8-RGBW for multi-color RGBW fixtures and DT6 for dimming when used with compatible DALI drivers.
• 4 DALI addresses are used – one for each zone – with addressing set via the rotary switch (unicast, group or broadcast modes).
• 256 dimming steps provide fine, flicker-free brightness control from 0–100%.
• Three scene keys can store and recall predefined RGBW scenes; long press saves the current scene.
• Panel can be matched with an RF 2.4GHz four-zone remote to allow wireless control in parallel with DALI control.
• Compatible with other DALI-2 products following IEC 62386 standards.

Wiring & Installation Notes

• Connect the DALI bus wires to the DA+ and DA– terminals according to the wiring diagram.
• If using external 24VDC, connect a regulated 24VDC supply to the +24V and GND power input terminals.
• Ensure a compliant DALI bus power supply is present when operating on a DALI line.
• Set the DALI address mode (unicast, group or broadcast) using the X/Y rotary coding switches as required by the project design.
• Install the touch panel into a standard 86 × 86 mm wall box.
• Indoor use only; IP20 protection class.
• Operating temperature: approximately –20°C to +50°C; maximum case temperature around +65°C.
• Provide adequate ventilation and avoid mounting in locations with excessive heat or moisture.
• All wiring should be carried out by qualified personnel in accordance with local electrical regulations.
